Yes finally got round to my July Timmy Tag. Not having the same stash as Tim and not being American either I found I was inspired by the home grown talent of Maisie Moonshine a fellow WOYWWer.
Whilst I had the brayer out and distress ink on the mat I started the background for an Art Journal page in the latest Round Robin journal to hit my craftspace too.
I did my Alpha Challenge page for "T" and trooping the colour (Our Queen's official birthday parade).
And a scrappage inspired by yet another WOYWer.
I guess that is about it for this week as it has been another HOT one and my craft corner is upstairs and WAY too hot for much crafting.
Not forgetting the numerous hospital visits for check-ups and procedures, it's been a bit of a week!
So to join the WOYWW fun pop along to Julia's pad here.
About Me
- BJ
- Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

I hope everything is OK and that the hospital visits and procedures are now coming to an end. Very sincere wishes for good health to you. I loved your trooping the colour page at the Craft Barn. That tag is super - love the colours. I love Maisie's work too and her blog is both inspiring and amusing! Julie Ann x #17

It's been too hot here to craft, too. I'm struggling, even when I go to the basement to craft.
I like your tag, and I like that you didn't compromise and go out and buy a bunch of stuff just to fulfill some tag challenge.
Thanks for the link. I finally looked on my T post and saw it. I also saw something similar on TV yesterday.
Happy WOYWW from # 41 who's not used to being in the middle of the pack.
BTW, where did you get that film strip washi tape?
I'm so loving your work. Your Timmy Tag is beautiful, and that layout is gorgeous. Thanks for stopping by #11
Hi BJ, I think you have done brilliantly considering the heat!
We get the afternoon sun in our office/craft room and so its early mornings and late evenings or melt LOL :)
Hope you are having a great week

your crafting this week has been fantastic I love the tag and your trooping the colour card is amazing. I hope those finding the heat difficult get a break soon.
Sending hugs on WOYWW and hope you have a great week

Great work BJ despite a difficult week. I too have found it too hot & have lost some of my enthusiasm. Happy WOYWW Anne x#9
Lovely work, BJ. Especially liked the scout one with the flag. My dad was a scout then a scouter - got the 50year Baden Powell long service award - so it brought some lovely memories.
Thanks for stopping by - I'm glad I've made a start on the Christmas cards, too. Couldn't resist the countdown thingy. Quite thrilled that I even managed to get it on screen - all by myself!
Have a great week.

Hi BJ,
All your shares look great! I HATE going to appointments so can feel your pain.
Still not participating in WOYWW this week but hope to real soon.
Peace,
Kay
3 great projects, I especially love your hexagon layout! You should be so pleased with how it turned out it looks fabulous! Happy WOYWW! Danie

Well gal, I think you've done more than me actually! Ilove that you've taken inspiration from another WOYWWer..have bumped into this twice on my rounds this week and it's so nice isn't it!
I think some of the tags actually look better when we use our stash. Otherwise they really are just copies and I prefer a bit of originality. Love how your AJ page is coming along. Actually I pretty much like all on your desk. Have a lovely week.

Hi BJ - loving that tag - subtle colours but popping off the tag - thanks for popping by - Happy WOYWW - Mxx #4
Love all your projects, but especially the tag. Isn't WOYWW great for inspiration? i see so many things that I want to try, I just need an extra 12 hours in a day, and another four days at the weekend! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #70 x
How cool. I love seeing your art space and the work you produce from it is so pretty.
I wanted to pop over to thank you personally for all that you did this year for the SOC. It was wonderful having you and I'm looking forward to doing it all again next year :) xoxo
