Lesson 12 over at Elizabeth's Altered Book Course with a folded page (and a sneaky tag too). Even found some Autumnal magazine pictures for the pages, and labelled them with my new DYMO machine. Thought the Wellie picture quite appropriate for Autumn. I used my Brenda Pinnock paper collection and Tim Holtz tissue tape for the joins. I think the candles look like they are being blown out from turning the folded page - LOL.

I have to credit you with lots of courage to use all those pages for this technique. I can see you are also getting a lot of use out of that new Dymo Label Maker. And your images simply shout Autumn! Beautiful addition to the book, BJ.
May I make a suggestion for the zipper page? Instead of gluing two sets of pages together, why not adhere some of that scrapbook paper you are so famous for to the backs of pages two and three. Or you could use scrapbook paper for the back of page 2 and the front of page 3. Use the heaviest card stock/scrapbook paper you have. That means you would only need THREE pages rather than five. You will still need to decorate around the zipper (coordinating paper?), but you will free up two much needed pages in your book. The idea is to get two stable pages for the zipper, which adds quite a bit of weight to the AB.
Ooh BJ, fab pages honey. Love the theme and the colour scheme. Ha ha, I see what you mean about the blowing out of candles, one of those serendipitous moments methinks!

I feel so good in that I have a Dymo Label buddy! lol I have had mine forever it seems, sometimes I think to get their newer version but there is something to the kerchunking sounds that's seems to be endearing to me! lol Great pages, you are doing so well! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
One of my favourite things to do is to kick up dry leaves in the Autumn so I think your page is made for me!!! Beautiful pages my lovely xxx
This Autumn spread is just beautiful! It does look like the candles are being blown by the turning page--you are so clever! I like the image of Stonehenge--our daughter visited there last Friday!
Very clever idea, great spread. The wellies seem to imitate the standing stones of Stone Henge, my eyes could not stop wandering around your pages.
