About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #238 - Christmas Knitivity

Happy Christmas

Thought you all might like to see the Christmas Knitivity that I knitted the cutey little sheep for. It has been doing the rounds in the local area and I caught up with it in the library earlier this month.

There was a box with loads of sheep for each participant to choose from as it did the rounds.

Here are my 4 contributions, although I carried on making them, 13 in all so far...  and they all seem to have found homes since too. I even made a purple one for my tree!

Have a lovely day everyone.

Behold The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

I'm trying to catch up after having been offline for so long. Once you get behind, it's hard to do. So I'm glad I posted early so I could come visit.

Your little sheep are adorable, and it's always nice to make gifts that others will appreciate. Of course, the real joy is in the giving, isn't it? So nice of you to make all these. You are so thoughtful.

I love the way you bound your Alpha challenge pages. They are lovely, and many brought back memories as I looked at the full year's pages and alphabet.

Got a kick out of your washi tape obsession. I have another friend who has joined this same group and is also talking about her washi tape and how few she believes she has. She showed the ones she has, and I was amazed at how many designs there are. Just like yours, more or less

Merry Christmas and happy WOYWW. No number, because Santa was waiting for Julia to go to sleep (grin).

Now you know how I felt that first year I played in SOC. You beat me EVERY week that year (grin).

Guess you read that I have a friend who has joined that journal group. You gals can compete for who has the most washi paper. Of course, she even admitted on her blog that she was competitive, so she may have more than you by now.

May I rub it in? Merry Christmas and happy WOYWW from #1.

I love the knitivity. My daughter once worked in a Garden Centre where one of her co-workers created a Knitivity to display in the shop - their Christmas displays were always superb and it was delightful. I love your idea of the sheep and giving them as a gift. Thank you for your visit earlier. Very Best Wishes for a Happy and Creative New Year. Julie Ann xx

Hi a couple of days late.....I noticed on Eilizabeth's comments you are going to undertake the Document Life challenge in 2014. What a great project! I hope you'll share your progress as you go along. I was tempted but I already do a calendar each month, and that's probably good enough for me. But I am very captivated. Enjoy. Hope your Christmas was merry!
