Altered Book : Pop-Up Page

I did it, I made a pop-up page for my Altered Book (AB). I kept it simple for my first time and just added a couple of pop-up images. I had been wanting to have an "impact" for the New Year page in my seasons AB and Big Ben was just what I needed.

I made the page on a separate piece of folded card and glued it into my book afterwards. I sprayed the card with Dylusions using the countdown numbers as masks. I sprayed the letters also. I decorated with glitter glue, a white pen and added the Weathered Clock dies too. Quite pleased with my first attempt.

Great pop up! They are fun aren't they? I haven't done a pop up for years. . . . . should dig out the teaching samples I made when I did graphics. Thanks for the inspiration BJ.

This is so impressive, I think YOU should have taught this lesson. Not only do I like it better than mine, I like how you managed to come up with a fantastic layout (using INK, I might add) that fit your theme.

I saw a similar way to how you made yours on the internet, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look right with what I had to work with. You found the perfect balance. I may want to use your pages later, if you will allow me to. You know I'd give you credit if I were to show them.
