What ever possessed me, an orange seahorse! Shocking! Yes shocking or hot pink as well, those are this week's colours on The Summer Of Colour Challenge Blog.
I have been looking for a seahorse stamp for a while but unable to find one so I had to source this drawing from the internet.
I stencilled the background with texture paste a few days ago in readiness adding Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade to colourise it.
I had a piece of ribbon handy and picked out the buttons, seashell and starfish beads to add to it. I inked and embossed my seahorse and there we have it.
You can't fit much more on a twinchie (which is a 2 inch square piece of art for those who are bemused by the term)
Thanks to everyone who commented on my twinchie last week. Sorry if I didn't make it back to you but I was having a lot of trouble locating blogs on the ever increasing link list over on the challenge site. I have tried to look at everyone on the facebook group instead but have been quite overwhelmed by the numbers.

- Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

This is great. I like the way you've used the hot pink and orange for a subject that normally uses cool colours. It works so well.
