This week I used a dry embossed background. I coloured the raised flowers with Versa Colour Canary Yellow ink (direct to paper) and clear heat embossed them. I coloured and clear embossed the accent circles in Distress Picked Raspberry Pink. I coloured the background in Distress Peacock Feathers, water spotted it and spritzed with some Distress Stormy Sky. Finally I added some Hot Pink flock to the flower centres.

Beautiful and cheery BJ, I like it all and thank you for the details on how you did it :o))
Very pretty :)
love this - the heat embossing is very nicely done!
ooo this looks so pretty BJ! Would make a fabulous feature wall paper :-D xxx
Very nice and great use of the colors. I like any flowers that are daisy-like. I'd rather have a handful of wild daisies than a dozen roses.
I have never tried embossing. I am more of a painter, but I love to see how people create their masterpieces. Mixed media is fascinating.
Cool I like the flowers :)
Very nice. The embossing really brings the piece out. I've never tried embossing, will have to give it a try. Great job.
Just so happy!!
I am in awe of your embossing folder and the treatment. Loved how you showed us how you made this. You are so good at wet embossing, too. I can't seem to get rid of little bits of excess, but yours is PERFECT.
Love the way you have used embossing here, I've haven't tried this (yet), it's a very attractive piece.
I love, LOVE your project!!!! the embossing looks amazing!!!! Thanks for sharing this with all of us. Great use of the SOC colors!

great use of the colors. I really love the way the embossing made the yellow come up to the top! Vickie
