About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

Altered Book - Lesson 10

"Magazine Pictures and Frames" is the title of lesson 10 on the Altered Book Classes run by Elizabeth and I finally got round to doing a page in my AB. I had the theme ready, even cut the circles/rings out ages ago but never quite got round to it. Then I realised I could make the rings, the frames! I didn't have many magazine pictures, as the Olympics hasn't really hit the Radio Times YET, but found I had enough to show the spirit of the games. I even found some peel-offs of sport things and to Sandee's delight there is even a shuttlecock! I inked and stamped around the edges of the pages which I suppose is another frame of sorts too. I even added a couple of stamps with the 2012 emblem on. So there we go, magazine pictures and frames page and my book is still fairly "flat" LOL.

I love this BJ, brilliant use of the Olympic rings as your frames. Ha ha ha, that's twice now I've been sitting here and nearly wet myself laughing, the innuendo is flying well between you and Sandee!!!!!!!! Love it, really makes me chuckle in the evenings to see all the banter going on, thank-you. Ha ha ha again, I hear you are off to the extravaganza at the weekend, my darling big sister has been requested to give you a big hug from me.
Hugs x

This is incredibly impressive. I'm not sure what the private joke between you and Sandee is, I may have missed it, but I still love what you have created here. And this is PERFECT for your SUMMER section of the book. Simply wonderful.

Love those interlocking rings! May well bump into you on Saturday as it looks as if that's when we're going too.
