About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #158

Well here we are again, happy to be a WOYWWer showing off my desk. Not a great deal happening. I have joined in with the Summer of Colour event over at Twinkle Twinkle. I am going to make a buttterfly ATC each week using the colours depicted in that week's icecream! Not too late to join in if you want to. I have selected 3 cards for my Hubby for Father's Day/Birthday and added the appropriate sentiments/ages. And there, in the foreground, is my "Pass it On" book. If you would like to be the next recipient, please leave me a comment saying you are interested and I will pick a name next Wednesday.

I have just popped my latest tags in my Art Journal, still can't believe I won the Tim Holtz May Tag. They sent me the District Warehouse set of stamps, which I got to use in my June Tag.
Also here are the ATC's I received in the megaswapathon we had a fortnight ago. I think I still have one yet to arrive though. I typed out the sender's names, I hope you can see them after clicking on the photo. I guess that is about it for me this week. Thanks to Julia for running such a great show and to all who stop by and leave me a comment. Hugs BJ

I'm seriously considering joining this weekly event. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I just have nothing to use my colors on, though and it appears you are supposed to have some kind of project to go along with the backgrounds. Have a super WOYWW. Too bad the linky isn't there this week.

What an excellent way of storing your tags - I might do something like that. (Maybe after I've tidied up and finished the minibook and the art journal and the ATCs and put all that stuff away I bought last week...) :D

Ooh, I LOVE your tags - the sewing one is just beautiful, and I love the clock bits on the Tower Bridge one - actually they are all fabulous. And what a pretty jar with the green cut out decoration on it - I might do something similar to jazz up my boring jars of bits and bobs!
Have a fun week and see you at the Summer of Colour!

Hi there, how interesting that we all get different gifts. I liked my voucher cos I am a Tim product addict and so I could choose my gift and not have the chance of a repeat item. I see I am number 45. When we started in the morning, there was no Mr Linky so I forgot to check my number when I did go back and add my name...

Beautiful tags, BJ, and I love the ATCs you've received, too.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, and I'm glad you like my art!

Sorry to be so long responding but I've been having problems with my comments awaiting moderation not being visible - it turns out it's a Blogger/Firefox problem since the latest Firefox upgrade, so I'm temporarily using IE till they sort it out - hopefully soon!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi BJ, just popped by to say thank you for the lovely patriotic ATC you sent me - waiting for me when I returned from holiday! I wondered what you meant when you said you saw the Queen - now I realise you actually SAW her in person! I had my photo taken with her at Gatwick airport ... only a cardboard cut out of her - lol. She looked real in the photo though!

Congrats on winning the TH goodies too!
