About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #240 - Snowdrops @ Craft Club

Back to craft club this evening. The theme was stamping, not my favourite, unless for backgrounds as a colourer-in person I am not.

I decided to take my 12 months Journal along with the snowdrop giveaway papers I had just printed.

I made up the pocket and tag back earlier and did the page at club. I did stamp a bit on it and it isn't really finished as yet but getting there. I also cut out the bigger snowdrops for my calendar page.

Also on my desk is the box I took with supplies with my raffle ticket. I won the little black tin box with a selection of brads and gems. Love it.

Finally the card for my Mum's birthday on Saturday. She loved my Timmy tag from last month, so I had to make her one.

Well that is me for this week, I think, head in the clouds somewhat!

Come join in the fun at Julia's for the weekly jaunt around the craft desks of the world, what we lovingly call WOYWW .

That tag is beautiful. I can see why your mother would like it. And your snowdrops are awesome. I've never heard of snowdrops, so they were new to me. But they are quite appropriate because of the weather we are having here in the States.

Lucky you with all those new brads and gems. And that box is adorable because you can use it and see through it, too.

Sorry I've been absent. I like the looks of your winter garden. It shows the bare (pun intended) bones of the garden.

Happy WOYWW. Of course, I'm early and have no number yet.

HI BJ! What lovely papers - thank you for the link. Is your 12 month journal something you do yourself or is it on a challenge blog? I'm looking to do a journal challenge myself this year but haven't come across one yet - can you let me know?

Your tag is beautiful - I know why your Mum loved it.

Have a happy week. MMx #56

Happy New Year BJ. I LOVE all the layers and colors from the snow drop paper...did you make that into a little journal? And to win anything if fun (rarely happens to me but still, and the little black box is so cool!!! I still havent' tried Tim's December technique yet - I really like the embossing your choose to use on your Mom's tag. Hope you are warm and cuddly.

Happy New Year BJ. I love your snowdrop page it's really beautiful. It's funny, I love stamping but hardly ever colour anything in, just use them to create backgrounds or colour them with inks and things.
I hope your Mum had a lovely day, her tag is beautiful.

Love the tag! Looks like you have used that snow drop paper to its full potential, I struggle with that. I download because it looks great, sometimes I even print it, but I never seem to use much of it.
Happy WOYWW!

Your journal looks amazing. You've made me want to do some posts about stamps as focal points for people who don't like to colour in. There's so much that can be done.

Thank you so much for visiting and for your encouragement.
Happy WOYWW,

love the journal and I can understand why your mother loved that tag! I wish I had a crafting club to interact with as I think it would keep my mojo where it belongs instead of letting it go walkabout all the time! Have a great week! Vickie #104
