Ah - Here we are again, having a snoop about people's workdesks. Join the fun @ Julia's. Here's what I have made this week. My Art Journal is turning into more of a Tag Store! Every other double page I am sticking in the month's tags and writing a bit about them too. The ATC on the easel is made with the left over pieces of another tag I made for this month's UKPC SWAP. The theme for our SWAP is Easter/Spring colours including Buttons and Beads. Last but not least is my "GOTH" scrapbook page. We'd been chatting on UKPC about whether we wore make-up or not and I happened to mention I used to wear a bit when I was a goth. This sparked surprise as to why I hadn't scrapped any "Goth" photos but alas it had been before my scrapping days. Anyway, I took some photos of my photos and have since printed and scrapped them. Gosh that was some time ago..... I even used to wear the black lace on the page in my hair! Sigh..........
OK - So not exactly on my desk but I couldn't resist sharing the bunny-egg which came in my Easter Flowers. Looks like he'd be easy to make. The felt for his feet is heart shaped but sadly no fluffy bunny tail.
Well that is me for this week - BJ
About Me
- BJ
- Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

How does your bunny egg NOT have a fluffy tail?! I know you'll fix that when you make some of your own. I was punk girl myself but alas no photos of the mohawk exist. I love that you used the lace you wore in your hair on the page. Great tags! And love the ATC. I have a love-hate relationship with those myself.
I love, love LOVE the art journal with all those beautiful tags!! Just gorgeous!! and FYI, you are going to mentioned in my blog tomorrow, nothing big, but just letting you know, lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina #50

I like the idea of adding your tags into your art journal. My one time try at an art journal was a total flop!
and baby bunnies aren't called bunnies ( another thing I learned ) they are called "chicks"...totally weird I think! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
Thank you for visiting me BJ and glad you liked the tutorials (not done this before but some asked ...! so thought I would have a go. I love your tags and ATC and the layout is great too. I am too old for Goth pics but there may be the odd punk one around! Jacqui #111
A Goth BJ, who would have knew! Your tags look, well, tagtastic!!
Sorry to hear you had to send your WordPlay die back to QVC. I bought that too and so far mine's OK, although I haven't used all the letters yet. Can you remember which letters wouldn't cut?
Thanks for visiting my desk this week :)
