Yay Timmy Tag Time again! I seem to have gotten over any thoughts of, "Bother I don't have any of those resources", it is more like, "Hmm that looks cool, I wonder what I can do like it?" OK so I did have the Pinecone die, but better still I had made the 3 flowers I used some time ago and they were beginning to annoy me as they kept falling off my shelf so what a better use for them. The silhouette is a die cut a fellow crafter gave me yonks ago, I peeled off the gold layer of the card and embossed with my sparkly black powder (only black I have!). Just felt my tag needed something at the bottom so used some of the handmade lace given to me by an internet friend in Spain. Also popped some pearl beads in the flower centres. Gosh anyone would think it was my wedding anniversary!About Me

For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

TH #8 - August Tag

I was just reading about your wordplay die. That seems sad. Looks like their quality may have fallen by the wayside since this is the second on you've gotten. But I think this is a gorgeous tag, and I've never been one to imitate what someone else does. Good for you for choosing your own path.
I am taking a bit of a break since I finally got my huge post finished and uploaded. Of course, I only have a few hours, then I must start on this week's tutorial. I hope you get that die problem corrected soon!
Hi BJ, I've just had a look at Timmy's tag for August and like you I don't have many of the materials - probably none of them if the truth be told. However, I was thinking, as you did, that I can substitute with what I have so I will have a bash tomorrow - let's see what I come up with :) Elizabeth

What a beautiful tag honey, fab use of texture and detail, love it. Those coloured flowers are a wonderful accent to the rest of the piece and finish it off beautifully.
