About Me

- BJ
- Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

Hi BJ, glad you have sorted out your phone and things, such a pain when things go wrong. I absolutely LOVE your butterfly ATC, it is simply gorgeous! Like the other one too. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #58
I dislike it so when phones don't work properly... glad yours is up and running! And your ATCs... oh my gosh! They're FABULOUS! Have fun this week! Happy WOYWW!

Hi BJ - step away from the ironing pile!!!!! Look beyond it to all the fun you could be having! WOYWW Hugs from Helen 19
Well, BJ, it sounds as if your phone problems may be sorted at last - let's hope so! These things can be notoriously difficult to pin down, and it's not helped by BT apportioning blame everywhere but at their own door for the problems.
Love what you've done with the embossed cards and the Dylusions sprays. The way they pool could be a real advantage when you've created deliberate peaks and troughs! This is something I must try.
I've never heard of anyone getting a faulty die before - that's quite surprising, and it's awful how long it has taken to get a replacement! I am sure you will be fine with the replacement. Frustrating when you want to get on, isn't it.
Glad you liked my stuff - and good news: the power adaptor arrived this a.m., a day ahead of when the tracking said it would come! So I'm a happy bunny, back on my fav laptop again.
Ah - the ironing! I'm ahead of you, it seems - I finished mine this morning while the ladies were winning their gold for the rowing - I'm surprised I didn't burn anything, I got so excited!!!
Happy WOYWW,

Love that butterfly ATC, gorgeous summery colours!! Trish #10
We've been experience phone outages at home when it rains. Finally the company came to fix them and in the process discovered issues with the cable TV cable. Apparently things need to be rewired, possibly even in the house. Hubby is at home today with that. Technology is great until it doesn't work right!! Then it makes you want to weep. Your ATCs are stunning! I love, love, love the butterfly one. Happy ironing! Is there such a thing?
I think you should continue to use your ironing board as a storage unit and not actually do any. It'll only get dirty and need washing again, then ironing again, so cut out one of the stages!! Beautiful butterflies btw!
Hugs, LLJ ~1 xx
I have a faulty sizzix die so I know how annoying that is! Thanks for visiting jenx 71
Gorgeous ATC's... fabulous colours & designs..Have a happy week, Hugs May x x x#12
So glad to see I am not the only onle with a stack of ironing to do. My board sits at the edge of my scrapbook room and I hate that it is in there! The laundry room is next door to my room and I should just do it every couple of days and then put the board away for the week.
Perhaps something to strive for!!!
The card for the swap and the ATC are fab!
Hi BJ, I went quite pale when I saw your pile of ironing - the only iron I have in my craft room is the craft iron :)) Your ATCs are lovely ... my daughter would love the dolphins, her ambition for next year is to swim with them. Hope your troubles with BT and the Wordplay die are a thing of the past. Have a lovely weekend. Elizabeth #63
I has serious concerns about your ironing and the fact that you are ironing in your craft space, are you sick or something? That is domestic stuff and really should not be done in front of crafting things you are jinxing yourself to loss your Mojo girl, this is a bad thing..... I suggest you remove it immediately and do some crafting instead.
Eliza who is now feeling ill LOL
#16 again
Oh gees with all that stress of your ironing I forgot to say I like your ATC's
