The second candle is the Bethleham Candle or Candle of Preparation. God kept his promise of a Saviour who would be born in Bethleham. Preparation means to "get ready". Help us to be ready to welcome you, O God! This is also a season of peace. Jesus came to bring us spiritual peace and is known as the Prince of Peace.

Love this advent Sunday page - very nice. Have just spent a while looking through your Attitude of Gratitude of pages - they are all wonderful I kind of wish that I had taken part a bit more but I was so busy last month I think it would have stressed me out more than relaxed me! I love all of the pages - I think 21 is my favourite. Bet you are really pleased with yourself for completing it.
