Well very nearly flummoxed by the Craft Barn's letter of the fortnight being "K" and my own challenge of finding a "special day" to illustrate!
Fortunate for me there is a great school site to help out at such moments and there is was - Kissing Friday.
Apparently the first Friday after Ash Wednesday where English schoolboys were entitled to kiss the girls without fear of punishment or rejection. Sadly this custom waned in the 40's.
About Me

- Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

Well done on your find - it's nice to keep a theme going although I'm not sure what we are going to do with some of the letters?!?!?
Ooh what a fab colourful page BJ, and well done you for sticking to your theme, brilliant job sweetie. Ha ha ha, I'm stumped for a minute but will find something I'm sure!!!!
Oh, good find for your personal challenge with this alpha challenge! Love the bright colors!
Never heard of Kissing Friday, sounds like fun, as are your pages.
LOL even if there wasn't such a day it would have to be invented! I love the contrast between the lime green and the red lips (are they die cuts?)
Fantastic colours and what a nice expression!
Beautiful vibrant colours, its a new phrase to me but a great expression.

How original ! glad it had died out by the 50's as I'm sure I wouldn't have wanted to be kissed by the boys I went to school with!
Love the lips on your pages
Visiting from the Craft Barn - Wow, such a vibrant spread :0)
I never ever thought of the word kiss much less kissing. What a great idea with wonderful colors!
