About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #207 - Spoons!

Hi there all you avid WOYWWers and welcome to the penultimate edition before the 4th anniversary. Pop over to Julia's desk to see what I am on about.

Well here's my little desk all tidy again as I do the tidying after I have finished things. I've just stuck the scrappages although some journaling is still required.

This week I have been décopatch MAD doing a spoon, then the cat and then the little chest of drawers. The bottom drawer holds 2 ATCs nicely side by side so in there you'll just about make out my set of 7 ATCs ready for next week. I then did another spoon and have a third waiting in the wings.

Also this week I did the technique challenge on 12 months in view with alcohol inks on acetate and a blowy thingy. The page is in my CD mini-book as fortunately I had made a couple of acetate pages.

The fantastic card is my SWAP from Elizabeth on the UKPC Group. She's made a great job of the sketch which was set this month.

And finally if you have made it this far and like my décopatch spoons the yellow one is up for grabs. Just leave a comment saying you'd like to go in the draw for it. I'll pick a name out before next week's mega blog hop. Happy WOYWW.

Hi BJ,

Yep, lovin' the decopatch. I hadn't heard of it before seeing it here so I'm going to do a search on google and see what comes up. I imagine it's a good way to use up scraps of paper?

I love that I can get a jump visiting WOYWW desks on Tuesday nights.

Happy WOYWW

I am definitely going to have to learn about that decopatch. You seem to be having fun with it.

I consider myself a wordsmith, but had to look up the word "penultimate." Silly me: next to last!

No number yet, but playing this week.

Well, how busy can a gal get? You've been amazingly productive. Love the LO, and admiring the fact that it won't go away till you've put some journalling with it. The spoons are great..so not what I had in my mind's eye!

Loving everything ( as said previously) you certainly have the bug!! Really love the spoon you are giving away and it would sit so well in my kitchen - just the right colour!!!! Would love to go in the draw for it. Anne x #73

I too am intrigued by decopatch and love this spoon. May I join in the draw? I don't think my cat would take too kindly to being decopatched! She prefers 'helping' and creating chaos! xxx#58
