About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #247 - Replacement

Morning everyone. What a surprise I got yesterday.  A few days before my birthday I received a little box in the post and had no idea what it was, so I kept it for my birthday. Somehow my Valentine chocolates ended up on top of it and then it was surrounded by cards and it was only yesterday that I realised it was there and STILL unopened.

Anyway you should have heard my delight when I opened it as out rolled the 5 distress stain replacements for the ones which had discoloured or gone smelly. Yippee, thank you Ranger. It had been posted from the UK supplier - Personal Impressions and wasn't the USA package I was expecting. So glad that is sorted now.

Today on my desk is my 12 Months in View Journal drawing to a close. I did the last February page celebrating the Winter Olympics, with a washi tape frame. I am currently doing the "Winter in the Garden" pages, highlighted by raindrops to mark the wettest Winter in 18 years here in the UK. I have the pocket and tags page to do next and am then left with a spare page. Wondering whether to remove it or not?

You can see my little DLP diary is getting chunky after just 2 months with my abstract tip-in showing, which is really growing on me.

Perhaps you can spot the distress pens in their "covered" toothpaste box suspended under the other covered box too!

The only other thing I have done this week is my STRONG page for the Craft Barn Q&L challenge.

Oh and the JUG! Hmmm Shhhhh there is a PILE of ironing beckoning from half term week, really ought to get it done soon!

Happy WOYWW everyone, come join the fun.

Lucky you to get those replacements. Was a great birthday gift, too.

That book is looking full already. It's going to be bright and colorful before the end of the project.

Happy WOYWW, but of course, I don't have a number yet.

Hi BJ-
I really am drawn to your winter garden pages...they reminded me immediately of quilting...and a garden, two things I like very much. I also like your DLP page - such nice bright colors. I'm really getting into that project too. This is the first week I've had every page coordinate in colors, although I do have to have somewhere to really write. I find myself looking forward to Saturday mornings! Did I miss the big birthday box reveal? I'm going to go looking for it now! Hope you have a great week. Sara j #43

Ranger has always been good about replacing products, although I sometimes wonder about why so many things have to be replaced.

Lots to see here today. I've just had to ask for a replacement on a Stampin Up ink pad - I'm surprised something doesn't go amiss with ink more often. Glad to have popped by. Susanne #89

I love a chunky diary! Or even a chunky art journal. Yes, Sunday's are going to be sad for the next thirty days until we get Call the Midwife--it will save me from my Downton despair. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #6

Hi BJ, glad you got that sorted. I must admit, I was very impressed with Rangers after care when I had some DI re-inkers that were solid in the bottle. Like you, they sent out replacements straight away, via Personal Impressions. Got me as well, I was expecting a USA package.Love the Strong page too. Just posted a new link, my first was going to last weeks post! Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #102 xx

Your February page is gorgeous, love, love the colors.

How good it is to know Ranger stands behind their products. I didn't know the stains could discolor or turn smelly, something to watch for.

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.

Happy Woyww,

I'm glad that ranger/PI has come up trumps, and hey, what a nice double surprise that box turned out to be!
Hey, remember we spoke about the magnetic frames back in October? I did keep one for you, but put it away in a safe place and promptly forgot! n ow! no obligation at all...it can stay in the safe place and I can easily forget about it all over again!!
