About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

Round Robin Art Journal Finished

For the past 18 months or so from Autumn 2012 I have been involved in an art journal round robin with 7 lovely ladies. This month marks the end of the 3rd round of monthly adding pages to each journal and posting on.

All the journals were hand made by the lovely Dawn.

I have now updated my cover and completed both inside covers, but what I could really do with is a suitable quote for the inside back cover of the lady and the swan, any suggestions appreciated.

Its been an amazing 18months hasn't it BJ? Your cover looks fabulous! How about a ballet type quote? Sorry, its all I could think of with a lady and a swan. XXX

Dawn makes lovely handmade books, doesn't she? I like how you finished the cover with those microbeads on the butterfly.

I'm absolutely no good at words on a page. That's why I often leave them blank. wish I were more help.

BTW, are you going to the WOYWW crop in May?

Your book looks amazing sweetie, beautifully done as always. My apologies for not letting you know but my book arrived safe and sound the day after you sent it, thank-you. Millie was delighted with the Easter craft bits and had great fun decorating the eggs on Sunday, was perfect for her due to the horrid weather!! Thank-you again my lovely.
Hmm, as far as quotes go I would maybe look at Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Wild Swans'?????? Failing that try http://www.quotegarden.com/
