About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #258 - ATCs at the ready

After a day of craft club in my house on Monday, I had a day of finishing off stuff on Tuesday. So now I have got 8 ATCs ready for the WOYWW 5th anniversary at the end of the month. They are called Indigo, Woodland, Lilac and Honey (no prizes for working out which is which!)

I also made a couple of ATC's into cards to show how they can be used as toppers.

Other things on my desk are my DLP and the page on my "Creative Hands" from the Journal 52 prompt for week 18. Next to that is a freebie shoe/bag stamp I got yonks ago and rarely use but the week 17 DLP prompt is about shoes. This is a sore subject for me as my feet are "off the scale" wide and only size 3 so getting any shoes to fit is a pure miracle. I would so love a pair of court shoes but alas this is not to be. I think my page will have to reflect this somehow.

Finally there is a little bag of die cut butterflies and dragonflies, my favourite, a gift from one of the ladies at my craft group, many thanks (I know you read my blog), they are adorable.

Happy WOYWW everyone, getting excited about the anniversary party Julia!

Hi BJ,

Great ATCs! I like the cards that you made with them also. Very cool. How do you find shoes? And how is the harp coming along?

I'm enjoying getting a jump on WOYWW posts!

Happy WOYWW

Oh BJ, I love the card with the bird cage ATC. That is super.

I like your hands P52 entry, too. Must be a self portrait (grin).

Guess I'm glad I didn't do DLP, because their prompts didn't speak to me at all. And I'm almost as bad as you. I wear size 5 1/2 or 6, but I think your shoe sizes are a bit different than ours. And like yours, my feet are so wide, I have to wear shoes a long time before they are stretched comfortably enough for me. That's another reason why I only wear tennis shoes, too.

I'm getting an early start, so number yet, because I'll probably be sleeping when you get up. happy WOYWW.

Your ATCs are so bright and colourful lovely designs you have done. I have no idea what size that would be here but I understand about the width for a shoe size. I have a wide front too with a small ankle if I don't try on my shoes first I'll be in pain one from to tight and the other because my ankle will slide up and down till raw. Once I find a shoe I just keep buying the same ones to make it easy :) hugs Nikki

Hi BJ

Lovely cheerful ATC's on your desk this week.
Thanks for sharing your creative space and I hope you have a good week too.

Until recently I was a size 4EEEE and have used The Shoe Tailor (.com) very successfully. Admttedly, the selection has tobe combed through with great care, but it's worth a look!
Meantime, loving the ATCs..beautiful inking.

Gorgeous ATCs. Lovely colours and theme! Good luck with shoe hunting, my Mum has the same problem. Obviously a gap in the market!

Gorgeous ATCs BJ, I love using them as toppers too.
I think that there are very few people who don't have some issue with shoe sizes.
My absolute fave. shoes are Hotters, they have a good range of width fittings and are so comfy.
Happy crafting, Angela x 50
