About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

Sketchbook365 - July Challenge

Horrah, I have managed to complete the Scrap365 July Challenge page in June!!! Their sketch this month is by Melenia Agapides and I just loved the torn and distressed upper patterned paper technique that she used. Had a bit of a job finding a double sided paper in my stash but fortunately this Kaisercraft paper called Guinevere from their Devonshire Collection did the job.
The Easter Bunny in the photo was the trinket included in my Easter Bouquet from Asda which just hopped into my trolly. I did post a photo of him back in April, but am only now getting round to scrapping him. I have enjoyed putting this page together roughly following the challenge sketch and even managed to slip in a second photo!

It is a lovely page BJ, I love the way you have ripped the paper and folded it back, such a great idea and the photo of the bunny egg is so sweet.

I also love that torn page element, haven't done that in awhile so thanks for reminding me about it. I always come away inspired from your blog, badminton girl! hee hee waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

A lovely sunny page BJ. I really like the torn paper element - loved it when I saw it on your ATC. I can see the lace 'bunting' peeking out too! (No conversion to scrapping though - just admiring your work!!).
