About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #212 - CD Mini Album

Hello all you WOYWWers and welcome to your weekly snoop round my desk, hosted by Julia at the stamping ground.

Just a few already blogged projects this week; Bonfire Night for The Craft Barn Alpha Challenge letter "B"; my Summer of Colour twinchie; and Postcard Theology for 12 Months.

I have also completed a couple of pages in my CD mini album I made in the 12 months Challenge.

And folded a shirt for a card for my son to give his Dad next week.

The backing paper was from an advert leaflet and it caught my eye.

The only other thing is this weeks contribution to the 2013 Summer Photographic Scavenger Hunt which you can find here.

So that's me for this week, please leave your number in comments and I'll be sure to return the favour. Happy WOYWW everyone.

This is sensory overload. You must be up late or got up early. What fun to see someone else ready to jump on the WOYWW bandwagon.

The twinchie is adorable. You did a good job with the colors. Far more so than mine.

Everything is so well done. Very impressive. Sorry, no number, yet. One time I've been early this week (grin).

I really love your CD album. I'm also doing the SOC challenge, it was the first time I'd ever heard of a twinchie. I think it's awesome all of the challenges you participate in. I am struggling to keep up with the 3 I'm in. (This is my very 1st WOYWW) My number is 145, the very last one. Like I said, I'm struggling…You have a new follower!!!! :)

Hi BJ, love the pages in your cd mini I presume they have been made from your own pics, how have you done the wasps/bees? they are really effective. I have heard the term twinchie but don't really know much about them, but I love yours with its ladybird.
Happy art making
