About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #249 - Craft Club

I had Craft Club at my house on Monday and the cards I have from there are still on my desk!

We made up backgrounds with strips of coloured papers.

There is also my DLP diary with my latest page of a list of words which make up ME. I love writing words in wiggly lines.

Also for the DLP this week we were tasked to add birds and having some leftover diecuts from Monday's Club I stuck some on various pages in my DLP.

PHOTOS - Do remember that if you upload your photos in their original size, blogger will resize them according to the size you choose per photo (default Medium). Therefore, despite how they show on the page when they are clicked on they will be shown in the original size and thereby we can have a great big nose at your desk! LOL.

For more Wednesday desks, pop over to Julia's stamping ground.

Yes, I always enlarge your photos to see the lovely pieces you have made during the week. Getting ready for Craft Club could have been a challenge. I know I only had a day to make sure my house was acceptable for company, even though I'm a neat freak. After all, Bleubeard doesn't really clean up after himself (grin).

Your DLP pages are divine. I especially like the last one and the way you used the birds in it.

No number yet, because Julia hasn't posted.

BJ I love your brightly coloured cards and those birds are beautiful. Are they die cuts from a specific set or did someone do them with a cricut?

Love the cards you've made. The little book at the back brings back memories for me, I bought that when I started college in 1972 and still have it. Happy crafting, Angela #59

Great journal pages. Yes, I used Gorgeous Grunge for my butterfly cards. Easy to change the colours and sentiment for whatever occasion. Thanks for stopping by.

Craft club looks like it was a lot of fun. Love the bird cards.

The ATCs are really fantastic. I always click on your photos to enlarge them - I love doing that. So much detail to look at.
