This is my second attempt. I tried it first on an embossed piece of card and aimed to emphasize the bird in the cage but made it worse. So I tried again on some plain card and stamped with a different inkpad. My Plum is the little heat embossed butterfly, the splashes of ink and the border.

Summer of Colour - Week 3
This is my second attempt. I tried it first on an embossed piece of card and aimed to emphasize the bird in the cage but made it worse. So I tried again on some plain card and stamped with a different inkpad. My Plum is the little heat embossed butterfly, the splashes of ink and the border.

This is delicate and beautiful, the colours go so well in this composition, very poetic!
A beautiful page in my favourite colours too xxx
Very gentle looking. Nice job with the colors.
This is very pretty. You did a nice job. Love the image.
You must have enjoyed these colors, because I see you were quick to make your SOC entry this week. I think this is beautiful, and I like how you admit your errors. Of course, I really like the bird and the bird cage. I promise not to call it "wet" embossing this time (grin).
It certainly paid off with a second try. It's gentle, soft and romantic. Lovely work.
A lovely peaceful picture, and I like the way you have used the colours. I also like the strip down the right side which gives a very nice finishing touch.
Love your DLP page, I did have to look up what DLP stood for though, well done super piece.
xo
