About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #156 - 3rd Anniversary *

OK, it is anniversary week on WOYWW and I seem to have become even more Partiotic MAD. Patriotic Biscuit Tin, Patriotic Mug, where will it ever end? Hoping to see the Queen on Saturday making her way to Epsom Derby, I am SO excited!!
Anyway I have added a few bits and bobs to my Patriotic card and entered into the Stamp Man Challenge. I made a Jubilee page in my AB and found enough pictures of the Queen to put on all my tags in my kitchen roll book (see below). One of my badminton friends is 50yrs today so I made her a card too. I also finally used my tag with the bark embossing and made the tag shown top right aswell. Then the two parcels I got yesterday, 1) my photos from Photobox and I only ordered the day before! 2) some pattern pieces from Sherry - thanks a million. Bundle so nicely tied up, I don't even want to open it - LOL.

Love all the patriotic stuff on your desk and now you get some bunting from LLJ as well - how fantastic is that?
Hope you get to see the Queen, a very special lady ,all those years of putting up with us lot. I was lucky enough to go to a Royal Garden Party a few years ago and stood within two feet of her - no rails, no barriers or anything, just me and her Maj, of, and a few thousand others.

I love the tag book with all the pictures of the queen. It must make having the Olympics this year even more special because of the queen's "anniversary". Happy WOYWW from Laura #126 (Thanks for visiting my blog already.)

Hi BJ, you have gorgeous creations on your desk again this week. I love your kitchen roll book, the tags are lovely. I see you have used the Parisian Accents again, on your other tag. I still neeed to buy that die lol, and the wood effect embossing is really affective. Hope you get to see the Queen on Saturday, have a great weekend.

Hi BJ! You go girl - there's not enough Patriotism in this country, methinks! Love what's on your desk this week. I'm also right there with you about Photobox - get the ordering time right and it's almost instantaneous service. Ace!

Sorry to be so late getting round this week - the Queen's Jubilee got in the way!

Happy WOYWW!
