About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #175 - More Scrapping

My desk might be tidy but my shelves are heaving! Bought some Timmy goodies this week, some are hanging from the bottom shelf. Made a couple of scrappages, both hanging from the second shelf. You can find close-ups here and here.

I tried out a little bag made from an envelope from the tutorial by Christine Embers, and I have the template for a paper angel printed out from Carol's tutorial pending...

For more desk snooping visit Julia's and join in the WorldWide What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday frenzy.

Your setup is so nice and your desk is so clean! Would be so fun to explore all those goodies on your nice tall shelves!

Let me guess, when you need something from the shelves, your desk becomes piled with all the stuff you have to move out of the way first?

Oh, no, wait, that was me. My shelves aren't even messy and somehow end up piled on my table anyway, which doesn't seem fair.

great looking crafting space! Love all the stuff on the shelf and your layout hanger is awesome. May have to steal that idea and put it to use! Have a great week and I look forward to seeing the envelope book. Thanks for sharing. vickie #41

Hi BJ, I have made loads of bags for Christmas goodies, following Christine's tutorial - so much fun. Your shelves look exactly like mine, I am terrified that mine will keel over one day soon! Look forward to seeing what you make with your new Timmy goodies! Happy WOYWW, Anne x #60

Hi BJ,
First of all can I just say sorry for not returning your visit to my blog last week, it was just one of those weeks.

Well, it looks like you been busy this week, finishing no less than two Lo’s and your desk is still incredibly tidy. I wish mine looked like that after a crafting session. Enjoy playing with your new stash….I’m sure you will.

Happy Crafting!

Wow, so tidy...l love the way you have pinned the layouts up onto the shelves as well as pinning up the new goodies.

Hi BJ
I'm actually home from hospital for 3 days now but had so many people emailing and calling for the "details" that I decided to refer them to my blog where I try to keep it to the funny or poignant details from Days 1 to Day 7.
I had some scary moments from other peoples mistakes and miscomunications so better this way to not look back on that part and move forward with chuckles and fond memories of some of the unsung, shining stars who work there.
Keeping in mind that I am quite drugged., the one is a gorgeous lime green book or it might be a tablet...oh lord I thing it is a notebook computer or??? in the front left of your desk. I thought the other was a journal on it's side but on closer, less drugged inspection I think it might be a cuttlebug or something...Oh, how embarrassing!

You look very organised. Would love to have a stickybeak at those shelves! And you can't really have too many Timmy products, can you?
Happy late WOYWW and thanks for visiting!
