About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #177 - Christmas at last!

Yep - at last I have made some Christmas Cards. Made a few for a SWAP (can't show those) then thought of all the cards I have saved from last year. I had already cut most of the pictures out using nesties so just had to find some papers, do a bit of inking and sticking. Add some glitter and greetings and more or less done. Glad to get some done at last, don't wish to give in and buy any.
If you wish to have a snoop at other desks pop over to Julia's. Please leave your number if you are a WOYWWer then I will reply to any comments.
Happy WOYWW, BJ.

We recycled a few Christmas cards from last year too, but having a lot of crafty friends means we receive a lot of handmade cards so not too many to recycle.

Wow! You've been busy - love the array of cards on your desk, positively festive, and the toppers look perfect.

Thanks for popping by earlier - I still haven't decided on which papers to use. Thanks for the suggestion but I think if I used them all the layout would look far too busy ... no, I'll have to decide :))

Happy WOYWW, what's left of it, and have a great week. Elizabeth x #114

Beautiful cards BJ, my favourite type! The problem with making your own cards is that people will be seriously disappointed if you go and buy one!!
