My husband bought me a couple of crafty things this week, the "Heat it" craft tool from Ranger and a 30g bag of watch parts which are in my trusty purple tidy tray. Been cutting out some leaves for an Autumn tag (
like my October SWAP card - previous post), also planning a few swaps.
To join in this wonderful Wednesday of Workdesks go and visit
Julia, and all will be revealed. And please leave your number in comments so I will be able to find you more easily. Happy WOYWW.

Good morning; just thought I'd pop my head round the door and say Hi. That heat gun is definitely a great tool; one of the best, if not the best on the market. Hope you have a lovely week.

Hi BJ, I agree with Neil, above, on the heat tool, it is a great buy and loving all those brilliant watch parts, look forward to seeing what you create with those. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #41
Love how many watch parts bits you have in 30grms. Must of cost you a fortune!! What a great tool I am definitely getting one when my old heat tool dies. What a lovely DH.

Love all the watch parts. I bought some and then vandalised some old watches I had but didn't end up with half as much as you have. Have fun using them - hope to see lots of time-based projects in future.

Just noticed your comment on another blog about your old heat gun. You probably already know this (sorry if you do) but in case you haven't come across it. If you heat your embossing from underneath, you do not blow the embossing powder off, and you get a smooth shiny finish. I am looking forward to seeing what happens to all those beautiful autumn leaves. Hope you show us soon. Have a good week. xx Maggie #65
It took us ages to buy a heat gun, before that we were resigned to watching paint dry!

Hi from #14 Scrappymo!
Can't wait to see what you create with the leaves. Looks like you have fussy cut the bunch...good for you...it is a lot of work though!
Thanks for the visit last night. I wasn't trying to avoid you, it's just I'm still fighting computer woes. I thought this problem would be fixed, but it was not.
I am LUSTING over those watch parts. One of the ABs I made was TIME, so I always enjoy seeing them. You are so lucky to have a hubby who respects your art and looks for art fodder. I also look forward to the Oct leaves.
OK, those watch parts look awesome, I think I might be drooling! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
Well, that's a lovely tray of Steampunkery!! I really love your purple candle cards that are hanging up, very pretty!
Hugs, LLJ 56 xx

Hi honey, much more organised than I will ever be my lovely!! Those watch parts look like lots of fun, but ever so fiddly??
Huge hugs x x x x
You'll be able to dry inky stuff gently and not chase it all over the card with that heat gun. I used a lot of my watch bits on an altered canvas and one or two other pieces - I used Anita's 3-D gloss to bed clusters of the very tiny bits. Elizabeth x #40
Hi BJ,
Now where did your dear husband find so many watch parts? Very cool looking! Your desk looks very inviting!!!
Thanks for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW

Howdy,
Isn't it great to have such avnice hubby? Mine is always buying me neat stuff too! I also collect watch parts - and just used a bunch on my Father's Day journal! I actually take watches apart - very relaxing...
Would love for you to stop by my blog when you have a moment or 2!
