About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #267 - Colour Fest

Some eagle eyed from last week spied my bag of Loom Bands, well the craze gripped me this last week.

My desk moved to the side table in the lounge where I have made loads of bracelets just with the hook. Then I bought a kit with a loom and have made the critters and crosses since.

On my actual desk is my last Summer of Colour piece and my little DLP which is getting mighty full.

This week I had Craft Club in my house and we décopatched wooden spoons.

Also my roll of fancy coloured Duck Tape as I am trying the tape method of wart removal, the NHS even list it as a valid treatment option.

So Yes definitely having a colour fest this week for WOYWW.

Hi BJ. You have indeed been having a colour fest! Great pictures this week. Lovely work there, and lots of fun being had. How's the harp playing coming on? Have you had any time for it recently?
Take care. God bless.

Oh aren't the spoons fun! How nice. Am staying away from the loom bands, have enough trouble resisting anything that ends up being a time waster, and I don't need bracelets. But they look fascinating, and the colours really attract me!
I've used the duct tape method to suffocate a couple skin tags..you have to be VERY patient, but it's definitely worth a try!

My son and I highly approve of all your Rainbow Loom creations. :)

The Mayo Clinic also endorses the Duct Tape method, although they say it has to be the silver kind of tape. I don't know why. haven't tried this method yet, but it would probably work better than the Do Nothing and Hope it Just Goes Away method, which I am trying right now for a plantar wart. :)
